Am downloading your podcast now. Found your site after reading your WordPress 3.0 article on web designer depot – awesome article.

I totally agree with you on the podcast front. The only ones I find worth listening to consistently are 37 Signals and Boagworld (although Boagworld has it’s ups and downs).

Can’t wait to hear the podcast. Great idea to break it down and say what you want.

Listening to episode 1 right now, ironically it’s playing while I’m struggling uploading a site from MAMP to a live server. Thought it was me being useless, but glad to see you’ve had the same sort of configuration problems.

As Stephen Fry once said, “the sort of twee person who thinks swearing is in any way a sign of a lack of education or of a lack of verbal interest is just fucking lunatic. Or they say, ‘It’s not necessary.’ As if that should stop one doing it. Things not being necessary is what makes life interesting.”

Grow up and tune out if you don’t like swearing. We want to be ourselves on the show and if that includes the odd swear word then so be it, the explicit tag is there for a reason. It’s not like we’re effing and blinding throughout the entire show.

I’ve been listening to the first few episodes. Good stuff!

I personally prefer LONGER podcasts that I can play in the background for a whole afternoon. I feel the quick chats leave something to be desired. I wish podcasts like 37Signals would increase in length, even if it means less frequent shows.

one question… Is swearing a trend thing? do You think it makes You cool or something? Down to earth, funny and casual is one thing… but being vulgar is just random :(
