I am inspired by this interview. Web designing can be learn with heart if we do want it and it can be a source of extra income instead of a hobby. Cool one!

Great stuff, Tony. The insight into partnerships and finding your "voice" in your branding really resonates. I've had some failed partnerships, and always seem to be second-guessing my branding (and the two are, in my case, somewhat related). But it's great to hear someone speak with that level of candor about those issues, especially from the perspective of having (hopefully) put them behind you.

The EE stuff was interesting too. I've always been an open-source guy, but I love working with EE.

Really cool interview. My goals/aspirations fall just about inline with what OnWired has done so it's very helpful to read how some one else "made it". Great question and answer about 3 things you wish you knew before. I hadn't thought much about partnerships, or more specifically how they could be detrimental, but now I know how to avoid some potential disasters.

I also love Tony's attitude about the OnWired site "we wanted to be more real" - amen!

Interesting to see some dissent for EE - I thought everyone thought the sun shone out of it - good to know it's not as flawless as i'd imagined (the plugin system aside, vs WP, it's horrible).
