WordPress UI Design

In 2010 and 2011 I contributed very heavily to the WordPress 3.0 and 3.1 release cycles – completing a large portion of the UI design and development for both releases, having been appointed as the WordPress UI Group Deputy.

These days I still contibute actively to the Core WordPress codebase, however I don’t have enough time to contribute as heavily as I used to due to an increasing level of major projects and speaking commitments all over the world.

Contributing to WordPress is some of the most rewarding (and challenging) work which I’ve ever done in my life. Knowing that something you’ve designed is going to be used by around 60,000,000 people is a surreal but amazing thing.
