Nivo Slider

When the time came for the world-famous Nivo Slider to go through its second design iteration, I was more than happy to help out my friend and business partner Gilbert Pellegrom – get the new site off the ground. Gilbert’s Nivo Slider jQuery plugin has been downloaded nearly a million times in total, and it one of the most well known (and beautiful) image slider scripts on the planet.

The brief to redesign the site was to drag it out of its simple first iteration and open it up to a new and more stylish look and feel to appeal to the masses.

Nivo Slider is all about the images which it displays, so the best designs using it are almost always minimal – and this site was no exception. With the addition of some simple branding and a few textures, we let the white space do most of the talking.
